Sodium Percarbonate is a safe and non-toxic, biodegradable alternative to harsh chlorine bleach.
When dissolved in water it releases oxygen which acts as a powerful stain remover, deodoriser and disinfectant.
It is the main active ingredient in many stain removal products like Oxiclean and Vanish.
As a stain remover (made into a paste and applied to the stained area), for whitening (as a soak) as a laundry detergent booster (added into the detergent draw with your liquid/powder) to unblock drains, to disinfect work surfaces or bins,
How to use -
For Laundry : Add 25g to the washing machine alongside your detergent or to use as a pre soak add 50g to a bowl of warm water. To treat a stain, mix a little with water to create a paste, rub onto the stain and wash as normal.
To unblock a drain : Pour 2-3 tablespoons down the drain add boiling water on top. Wait few minutes and rinse.
General cleaner and disinfectant : Dissolve 4 tablespoons in 1 Litre of hot water. Brilliant to clean ovens, bins and toilets. Mix to a paste to remove mould or to brighten grout on tiles … the list goes on.
